Description

What will you be doing?

At Simreka we help brands manufacturing consumer products and chemical companies launch new, safer and sustainable products faster with our manufacturing R&D simulation platform.

As a member of our Sales team, the Sales Engineer will use their sales savy to blow up selling our data-driven simulation software into the defined vertical. Being a self-starter with a consultative approach to selling, and having a history of exceeding expectations and cultivating exceptional customer relationships, will ensure your success in this role! As will being resourceful, ambitious, thick-skinned, and an excellent communicator.

Your responsibilities:

Lead sales conversations with Brands and Manufacturers about Simreka’s “Data Driven simulation platform”

Develop and nurture new relationships with prospects at senior levels of organizations who are influencers, decision makers and/or budget holders

Build a strong and healthy pipeline of prospects, maximize conversion of the funnel, and close deals to meet sales targets

Enrich Simreka’s understanding of market dynamics and contribute to our internal knowledge base with updated sales and MARCOM documents.

Work closely with your Scientific and software leads to ensure continuous improvement of our product’s placement and projection.

Collaborate with our technical team members to ensure continuous improvement of our outreach and to communicate learnings from your conversations to the innovators of our team


Your background:

1-2 years in a high growth tech company, preferably enterprise software sales to the manufacturing industry.

Experience in managing complex sales cycle from business champion to the C-level

Ability to understand the needs of highly educated R&D experts with knowledge of chemical engineering and material science

Ability to communicate confidently about leading edge A&I solutions and its capabilities in bringing value for our potential customers.

Ability to evaluate and qualify leads 

Ability to negotiate business terms with line-of-business heads, procurement teams and senior management is considered as a plus 

Track record of over-achieving quota in past roles

Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred

Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and German
