Famedly was founded in 2019 by Dr. Phillipp Kurtz and Niklas Zender and is based in Berlin. The startup is revolutionizing communication in healthcare. Through the first product, the Famedly Messenger, a secure, privacy-compliant, yet simple and flexible communication between doctors, therapists and nursing staff takes place. Through the connectivity to primary systems, administrative tasks are minimized and the daily routine of medical professionals is significantly simplified, making them more productive. The messenger is based on a transparent open source software structure - the matrix protocol - and offers the necessary openness through the use of the FHIR standard to quickly connect digital health innovations in the future.
